Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has congratulated BJP national vice president Vinay Sahastrabuddhe on being appointed as the party's in-charge of the state and said the party would be stronger under his guidance.

"Chouhan congratulated Sahastrabuddhe on his appointment as BJP's Madhya Pradesh in-charge yesterday," a senior official said today.

Describing Sahastrabuddhe as "wise, efficient and able administrator," Chouhan said the state will touch new heights and the party will become stronger under his guidance.

Sahastrabuddhe has been appointed the in-charge of BJP in Madhya Pradesh in place of Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers Anant Kumar.
