Bhopal: Mother Express train having three
air-conditioned coaches reached the Habibganj Railway Station
here to pay tribute to Mother Teresa on her birth centenary.

Flagged off by Railway Minister, Mamata Banerjee from
Kolkata on 26 August 2010, the train will display a photo
exhibition on Mother Teresa`s life, work and her message of
love for public from 0930 hours to 0700 hours today and
tomorrow.

The train arrived here after passing through severalstations in the country and halting there for two days each.
Mother Teresa, who came to Kolkata in 1929, at the age
of 19, to become a Loreto nun later left that congregation and
started her own Missionaries of Charity congregation to work
for the "poorest of the poor" in the slums of the city.
She based her work largely in Kolkata and was buried
there in 1997 when she died at the age of 87.
