MP Assembly condemns attack on Pawar

As the House assembled for the day State Industries Minister mentioned the episode and urged Speaker to pass a resolution condemning the attack.

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Assembly on Friday
strongly condemned the attack on NCP President and Union
Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, in Delhi.

As the House assembled for the day State Industries
Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya mentioned the episode and urged
Speaker Ishwardas Rohani to pass a resolution condemning the
attack unanimously.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Narottam Mishra and
Leader of Opposition, Ajay Singh supported Vijaywargiya and
said everyone in democracy should condemn such incidents.

After taking concurrence of all the parties, Rohani
passed a verbal resolution in this regard.

Pawar was slapped yesterday by a person identified as
Harvinder Singh who claimed that he assaulted the minister as
he was upset with the growing corruption and soaring inflation
in the country.
