Bhopal: The Congress in Madhya Pradesh would work hard to ensure the party`s victory in elections to 52 local bodies spread over 16 districts in the next two months, a senior leader said on Saturday.
Addressing a press conference here, Congress General
Secretary in-charge of Madhya Pradesh B K Hariprasad said
issues related to the upcoming polls were discussed at a
meeting of the co-ordination committee of the party`s state
He said the meeting had been called at a very short
notice because of which many members of the committee could
not attend it.
Hariprasad slammed the State`s BJP Government and
accused it of failure on various fronts.
Things under the BJP rule were going from bad to
worse. A number of rape cases had been reported in the State
in the recent past, the Congress leader added.
