Rewa: Four family members were killed when the wall of a pond collapsed on the house adjacent to it due to rains here, police said Thursday.
The wall built for the beautification of Ranital Pond collapsed last night on a house in which Subelal Bansal, his wife Bhagwania and their two daughters Sangeeta and Priti were killed, police said.
It took rescuers two hours to reach the site and pull out the bodies as the house was in a narrow lane.
The district administration has announced an ex-gratia of Rs two lakh each to the kin of the deceased.
