Lucknow: The body of Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav's son Shailesh, an accused in the multi-crore Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh, was consigned to the flames in the presence of his family members here today.

Earlier, MP Governor Yadav reached here and immediately after landing at the Amausi airport, went to the SGPGI for a medical check-up. He then went to his official residence where the body of his son was kept.

Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik also reached there and consoled the mourning father, who sat on a wheel chair in front of his son's body.

A sombre-looking Yadav was seen continuously sobbing while his family members kept consoling him. Senior Congress leader Pramod Tiwari, Congress MLA Rita Bahuguna Joshi and senior UP minister Narad Rai and others also visited Yadav's place to condole the death.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had yesterday visited his place and paid his condolence while SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav also condoled Shailesh's death.

The autopsy of Shailesh had failed to identify cause of his death, even as his family today said they do not suspect any foul play.
Police said viscera samples have been preserved.

"The post-mortem report says that cause of death could not be ascertained. Viscera and heart of Shailesh have been preserved," Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Yashasvi Yadav said.
The SSP today maintained that the death appeared to be "natural".
