Bhopal: State BJP has decided to ask Madhya Pradesh Cooperatives Minister Gaurishankar Bisen to cancel his scheduled tours in the state, considering growing unrest against him following his recent alleged remarks against Brahmins and tribals.
"The party leadership has decided to advise Bisen to cancel his trips in the state to avoid a further confrontation with party workers and others," BJP sources said here
Bisen is facing protests not only from the opposition parties but also from a section of BJP workers wherever he is going these days after he allegedly made the remarks against
Brahmins at Panna recently.
Earlier, the minister faced a barrage of attacks in the state from the Opposition and Revenue Department employees over his remarks against tribals and punishing a tribal
patwari (local revenue officer) in public.
