Nine bookies held in Indore

Indore: In a crackdown on those involved in Satta on IPL matches, city police arrested nine bookies belonging to two different gangs.

Three accused Golu, Chhotu and Sachin Verma, who claimed to be real brothers were all arrested from Bhanwarkuwan Police Station area in the Prabhapuri Colony last night, they said.

Six others--Pappu Agrawal, Ajay Agrawal, Ritesh Agrawal, Kailash Rathod, Lakhan Rathod and Om Kushwah-- were held from a flat near Limbodi village, police said.

Diaries containing accounts for lakhs of rupees in Satta, audio recorders, TV sets, laptops and moible phones in large quantity were also seized from them.
