Robbery case accused escapes from police custody in Harda

Harda(MP): An accused in a robbery case escaped from the Kotwali police station lock-up after breaking its window, police said today.

The accused, Shiva, was arrested two days back and was in police remand since then, Harda`s Sub Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Cyrus Herald told reporters. Last night, he managed to escape from the lock-up by breaking its window, the SDOP said adding search is on to nab him. He was arrested in connection with a robbery near the District Collector`s office, police added. PTI
