Rs 1cr granted to MP Legal Service Authority

Indore: National Legal Services Authority on Saturday announced a grant of Rs 1 crore to Madhya Pradesh Legal Services Authority (LSA) for various plans and schemes including the Lok Adalat and child welfare programmes.
Altamas Kabir, Chairman of National Legal Service Authority Justice and also a Supreme Court judge made this announcement in an ongoing session of child’s rights here, MP High Court judge Krishna Kumar Lahoti said.
Justice Lahoti said, a Mega Lok Adalat will be organised in parts of the state on November 5. In last year`s Lok Adalat over 6.17 lakh cases were expedited, he said.
The official website of High Court of Madhya Pradesh, www.mphc.in, providing judgement/orders, case status, copying information, caveat, roster, e-courts and administrative orders was also launched.
