Sagar: Seven persons were killed on Tuesday
and two others injured in a collision between a SUV and a
staionary dumper near Maldhon, 70 kms from here, police said.
The mishap took place in the wee hours when the victims
were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony and the
vehicle in which they were travelling hit the dumper, they
said.
Six persons died on the spot while one woman succumbed
to her injuries in the district hospital. The two injured
have also been admitted for treatment there.
The deceased were identified as Gurumukh Das, Kanta Bai,
Kishan Chandra, Kunti, Tavera driver Rajkumar, Deepak Jatav
and Bhoomi Bai.
A case has been registered against the dumper driver.
