Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister,
Shivraj Singh Chouhan, is observing a 24-hour fast in support
of the `satyagarha` launched by Baba Ramdev on repatriation of
black money and to protest the police action against the
protesters in Delhi.
Chouhan who began his fast from 7 am will continue it
till Monday, official sources said.
Condemning the police action, especially manhandling
of women, children and elderly persons, the chief minister
termed the crackdown as `totally unconstitutional and against
the democratic values`.
Sources also added that during the fast, Chouhan will
discharge his duties as scheduled by drinking only water
adding he will also go to Delhi during the period.
