Bhopal: The Opposition Congress in Madhya
Pradesh Assembly on Saturday demanded strict action against those
responsible for the stampede at Hussain Tekri in Ratlam
district where ten persons were killed.
The State's BJP Government has failed to learn
anything from an incident at Dharaji town a few years back in
which a large number of people were killed due to negligence
of the officials, Leader of Opposition in Assembly Ajay Singh
said here.
He expressed grief at the loss of lives in the
stampede.
Ten pilgrims were killed in the stampede at Hussain
Tekri, where a large number of people had gathered on the
occasion of Chellum, a Muslim religious observation that comes
after Moharram.
