Thane: A cluster of industrial godowns
and hutments were gutted in fire that broke out at the
powerloom of Bhiwandi town in the district, police said Thursday.
The blaze started at a chemical godown in Valgaon of
Mankoli on the outskirts of Bhiwandi yesterday in which entire
cluster of godown and the nearby hutments around 12 were
totally destroyed.
According to police, ten persons, including firemen,
were injured in the incident.
