Two women tourists killed in road mishap

Two foreign tourists were killed on Tuesday and five others were injured when their vehicle collided head-on with a truck in Panna district, police said.

were killed on Tuesday and five others were injured when their
vehicle collided head-on with a truck in Panna district,
police said.

The mishap took place at Devendra Nagar due to thick
fog, when they were on their way to Satna via Khajuraho to
catch a train for Varanasi, they said.

The deceased women--both nationals of South Korea were
identified as Kango (37) and Chang (45) and their bodies have
been sent to Panna for autopsy, police said.

The injured including four foreign nationals, were
referred to Satna for treatment, police said adding a case has
been registered in this regard and further probe is on.
