Mandsaur: Police on Sunday said they
have arrested two youths and allegedly seized 18 kg of smack
and 12 kg of opium valued at over Rs 18 crore from them here.
The two, Pawan Porwal and Arjun Pawar, were nabbed
on Saturday, police said.
Porwal is a local resident, while Pawar came from Kota
in Rajasthan.
The seized smack ((inferior quality of heroin) is
valued at Rs 18 crore in the international market, while the
opium has a value of Rs three lakh, police said.
The smack was packed in nine bags of two kg each,
while the opium was kept in 10 bags, they added.
