Bhopal: Former Madhya Pradesh Chief
Minister, Uma Bharti on Sunday said that she pitied Congress
General Secretary Digvijay Singh for his statement on slain
Maharashtra ATS Chief Hemant Karkare.
Bharti told reporters at her residence that she failed
to see the logic behind Singh's statement.
She said that the Congress had distanced itself from
Singh's statement and even Karkare's wife had criticised it.
Bharti said Singh was in a very pitiable condition
right now because of which he had become frustrated.
She said that she knew Singh since she was a child of
eight and added that the two respected each other although
they have different political views.
