Air Vice Marshal Anil Khosla has taken over as Air Officer Commanding, Headquarters Maritime Air Operations, in Mumbai.
Mumbai: Air Vice Marshal Anil Khosla has taken over as Air Officer Commanding, Headquarters Maritime Air Operations, in Mumbai.
Air Vice Marshal Khosla commissioned in the flying branch as a fighter pilot in December 1979. He is a postgraduate from Defence Services Staff College.
During his career spanning over three decades, the Air Officer has had the distinction of having flown various types of fighter aircraft with over 4000 flying hours.
He is a Qualified Flying Instructor and holds M Phil in Military Studies. He has been a part of Directing Staff at Flying Training School and Tactics and Combat Development
The Air Vice Marshal has held several important staff and field appointments. He has been a chief operation officer of an operational base.
For the distinction achieved, he has been awarded Vayu Sena Medal (VM) by the President of India. He took charge of the new post recently, a release said.
