All Delhi gang-rape accused are Biharis: Raj Thackeray

Mumbai: Amidst huge outrage over rising rape incidents and crime against women across the country, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray on Saturday blamed people from Bihar for rising incidents of rapes in India.

Addressing a rally in Mumbai, Raj Thackeray said that while everyone is discussing the Delhi gang-rape incident, nobody is asking where these men came from.

"Everyone is merely talking about the rape. No one is asking who did this. So many cases are slapped against me (for speaking against Biharis) but no one is talking about the fact that all these rapists are from Bihar," he said.

This is not the first time when Raj Thackeray humiliated the people of Bihar. In the past also, the MNS chief was criticised for calling Biharis in Maharashtra as "infiltrators" and ridiculing Chhath Puja.

I am not agree with Raj Thakre becuase first he is politician. He always comments like this.When every one was giving there comments than where was the Raj thakre. I am living in maharashtra and i m proud of it because really it is good state as compare to other state but in maharashtra also everyday crime is going on. I think raj thakre should comments against OWAISE who is against Hindu.

This is attention diversionary statement. I think rape as a crime exists in all States all across the world. Bihar is no exception neither is Maharashtra. All we need to do is prevent crimes if we are a witness and all political parties cutting across party lines should educate and conduct demonstrations explaining the facts and sensitization of rape as a heinous crime and respect towards women. It will help control and/or eradicate this problem. Jai Hind!

Being a biharis i was waiting for this comment and it came as no suprise..Indian people just a reminder for you this is first rape in india and it is done by bihari.... A questions to all biharis are we proud to be call our self an indian..i am not..the way these so called indian (from whom india means there hometowm or state) has treated us.. Where is our self respect.... After this remark by Raj if blood doesn`t boils then we really deserve how people of india treat us....do hell with this country and its people...

truth is truth...................biharis involved in most of crimes except terrorism which is handled by muslims department.Not only rapes.,most of the train robberies an other crimes took place either in bihar or by biharis somewhere else in the country.I was robbed once in bihar.

public chahti hai ki gawag to banaye bt use maut ki saja jarur di jaye. In logo ne aisa kaam kiya hai jise ek second ke liye maaf nhi kiya ja sakta. Main to chahta hun ki in sabko nanga karke all india me run karte huye dande mare. Aise logo ko pta chalna chahiye ki dard kya hota hai. Bt ye kanoon kya kar rha hai aur ye neta sirf apna ullu banane me lage rahte hain
