Nashik: A police constable has been booked for allegedly molesting a five-year-old girl in Dwarka area of the city, police said on Wednesday.
The victim went to the house of traffic police constable Nitin Manohar Bagul yesterday to pick up a cloth which had fallen over there.
Bagul, in an inebriated state, allegedly called the minor girl inside and molested her.
Hearing her screams, the neighbours came to her rescue and beat up the constable.
Later, a case was registered against him, police added.
