Nagpur: Lashing out at the former RSS chief
K Sudarshan for his defamatory remarks against the Congress
president Sonia Gandhi, party general secretary, Digvijay
Singh demanded that the BJP also should apologise.

"Both the RSS and the BJP are connected with each other
and therefore BJP should also tender an apology for indecent
remarks against Congress president", Digvijay Singh, told
reporters, here today.

Not satisfied with apology by the RSS, Singh said that
the BJP is a political wing of the RSS. Sudarshan`s statement
was highly provocative and BJP too should apologise.

On RSS-SIMI controversy, Singh listed a number of blast
cases and said that there were elements in the RSS promoting
violence since 1992.

To a question on imposing a ban of RSS if it was
induldging in terror activities, Singh said ban would not do
since RSS has over 125 frontal organisatins operating in the
country and "If you ban one organisation (like RSS) they will
simply change the name plate".

On 2G spectrum scam allegedly involving Union Telecom
Minister D Raja, Singh felt that it is the DMK that should
take a call on it but he also said that an appropriate action
would be taken on PM`s return from the G20 summit.
