Four held in two rape cases

The accused were arrested after a complaint by her parents, police said.

Nashik: Four persons have been arrested in
connection with the rape of two minor tribal girls in Kalwan
and Yeola tehsil towns, police said on Wednesday.

In the first case, three youths--Vishal Rajbhog (19),
Nitin Shevale (20) and Ramesh Bachhav (22) gangraped a school
girl at village Darebhangi in Kalwan taluka yesterday, after
taking her to a isolated place, they said.

The accused were arrested after a complaint by her
parents, police said.

Her medical tests are being carried out in a government
hospital here.

In another case, a 31-year-old man--Sandeep Sopan--of
Nimgaonmadh village was arrested for sexually abusing a
eight-year-old tribal girl since last few months.

He was produced in a local court and remanded to
police custody for three-days, police added.
