Thane: Jawhar town in Thane district experienced mild tremors on Monday night, reports reaching here said.

Tremors were felt at around 10.50 pm, creating panic among people who ran out of their houses, villagers told PTI.

Police inspector K N Awchat of the Jawhar police station confirmed that the town experienced tremors.

There is no report of any loss of life or damage to property.
