Nashik: A leopard fell into a well in the tribal-dominated Wavarpada village and was rescued after 30 hours by forest officials with the help of police here Thursday.
A woman noticed that a leopard had slipped into a well on Wednesday morning and informed the local police.

Later police called the forest officials and they released down a cot with the help of a rope inside the well.
The leopard managed to climb the cot and was pulled out safely yesterday afternoon, police said.
