Maharashtra Home Minister RR Patil on Friday said that state government would probe the leak of CAG report.

Mumbai: Maharashtra Home Minister RR Patil on Friday said that state government would probe the leak of CAG report.

"We would probe how the report was leaked when it was yet
to be tabled in the house," Patil said in the Legislative
Council today.

"From where the report was leaked needs to be looked at."
BJP MLA Devendra Phadnavis last week produced a copy of
the leaked report in the Assembly.

The report indicts top ministers including Industries Minister Narayan Rane, PWD
Minister Chaggan Bhujbal, Cooperative Minister Harshavardhan
Patil, Forest Minister Patangrao Kadam, apart from former
Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh for irregular land
allotments, etc.

The Home Minister was replying to a point of order raised
by Leader of Opposition, Vinod Tawade (BJP).
