Major fire in Thane hotel

Thane: A major fire broke out on Tuesday in a multi-storeyed luxury hotel here, fire officials said.

The incident took place around 11:15 hours and more than a
dozen fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to douse the
blaze, which has engulfed the 10-storeyed building at
Ghodbunder road locality in the city, they said.

Fire-fighting operations are on and all the people in
the building have been evacuated, the officials said, adding
that there are no casualties so far.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
