New Delhi: A Union Minister on Friday announced
he would ensure coverage of one lakh people in his
Parliamentary constituency in Mumbai under a personal accident
Minister of State for Communications and IT, Gurudas
Kamat said it was his endeavour to cover the poorest families
up to Rs one lakh in case of sudden accidental death of the
main bread earner of the family.
In a release, he said he would get the bread earners of
the family covered under a Personal Accident Policy through
the Congress Committee of his Parliamentary Constituency
Mumbai North West.
Noting that it was a tribute to Rajiv Gandhi, whose 66th
birth anniversary is being celebrated today, Kamat said he
would ensure entire premium through the District Congress
