President Raj Thackeray Wednesday released a handbook on railway
recruitment examination, targeted at Marathi youth.
At a state executive meeting of MNS here, Raj
gave copies of the handbook to party activists, to be
distributed among railway job aspirants in the state.
"We fight to get priority for the sons of soil in
railway recruitment. But our youth are not much aware about
the recruitment process," Raj said.
The handbook contains information on how to fill up
the form, where to submit it, documents to be attached,
qualifications needed, etc.
"Locals should appear for railway exams, and increase
the number of Maharashtrians in the Railways," Raj said.
In 2008, MNS activists had assaulted north Indian
candidates appearing for the railway recruitment exam in
neighbouring Kalyan.
