Pune: A mentally deranged man’s antics led to chaos in a school in the city on Thursday. The man identified as Rajesh from Odisha roamed around the Dr Ambedkar Memorial School stark naked much to the chagrin of the school management.
As per a media report, Rajesh entered the campus of the Cantonment-run school at around 11 am today morning and roamed around aimlessly.
When the security guards tried to drive him away he turned aggressive but was still forced out the building. However, he returned at around 1 am and refused to budge, following which the police wwas called in.
Principal Anita Salunke had reasons to be worried as students were present in the school today - were taking their annual exams. The exams were from 11 am to 2 pm – explaining the desperation of the principal to get the man out of school before 2 pm.
Last heard, the police had admitted Rajesh to Yerwada Mental Hospital.
