New Delhi: A fierce encounter is going between the security forces and armed Naxal fighters near Gondia district in Maharashtra, claim reports on Friday.
As per reports, the encounter began around 8 am this morning after the security forces received a tip-off about the presence of a large number of Naxals in the area.
Around 100 armed Naxal fighters are said to be holed up in the forest adjoining Gondia and efforts are being made to flush them out of their hideouts.
