NCP student wing to campaign ahead of Assembly polls

Nationalist Students Congress (NSC), the students wing of NCP, has initiated a statewide campaign for the party ahead of the Assembly elections.

Mumbai: The Nationalist Students Congress (NSC), the students wing of NCP, has initiated a statewide campaign for the party ahead of the Assembly elections.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who launched the programme, initiated by NSC president Nilesh Raut here today, said as part of the campaign, student activists of the outfit will reach masses and explain NCP`s stance on various issues.

"With this campaign, the young generation will become aware of the political situation in the state," Pawar said.

"The objective of the campaign is to create political and social awareness among students," Raut said. "We will cover around 1500 colleges in the state as part of the campaign," he added.

"We will use street plays, flash mobs and poster exhibitions and corner meetings with students in the campaign," Raut said.
