New Delhi: BJP on Monday said there were no
efforts to have an alliance with Raj Thackeray-led MNS and
wondered where these reports came from.

"There is nothing on this. There are no talks with MNS.
Where this came from, we are not aware. If there is something
we will get back to you," BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman
said in reply to a question.
BJP`s Deputy Leader in Lok Sabha Gopinath Munde had said
yesterday that the party welcomed an alliance with Shiv Sena
as well as MNS.

Bal Thackeray-led Shiv Sena is strongly opposed to MNS
and had raised a hue and cry when Raj had entered the BJP`s
Maharashtra state unit office in Mumbai to have tea with some
party leaders.
BJP expressed surprise at the suggestion Munde made
yesterday.

"There is nothing in the party about Raj Thackeray`s
MNS," Sitharaman reiterated.
