Mumbai: One person was injured on Sunday when a cement-mixer truck toppled on a car in suburban Andheri, police said.

The truck while taking a turn at a signal on Western Express Highway lost control and toppled on the car that was coming from the opposite direction this afternoon, they said.

Four persons travelling in the Innova vehicle had to be rescued by fire brigade officials.

One of them was rushed to a nearby hospital, the officials said, adding the remaining three escaped unhurt.

Traffic has now been restored after the accident had led to minor disruption on Western Express Highway, police said.
