Thane, Oct 2 (PTI) Senior photo journalist Balchandra Shankar Vaidya was today given the lifetime achievement award by the Thane district rural photojournalists association.
Vaidya, 80, hailing from the Jawhar taluka of Thane district, was lauded for his work as a press photographer.
Vaidya was earlier a member of the Jawhar Municipal Council and also actively worked with Shiv Sena for quite some time in Jawhar.
