PM Modi spares Shiv Sena, takes on Sharad Pawar in Maharashtra poll rallies

• PM ends speech.
• This is the land of Shahuji Maharaj, Chhatrapati Shivaji and we should not litter it.
• Please do not leave any garbage behind.
• I appeal to you not to leave any bits of paper, garbage around.
• I appeal to you to give BJP a mandate in Maharashtra.
• If Mumbai develops, India will move ahead.
• If Maharashtra develops, it will take India ahead.
• People are my strength, yahi hai meri energy.
• Corruption of Congress and NCP has deprived this place of development.
• America has noticed India not because of Modi, but due to the mandate of 125 crore Indians.
• But it is the truth that Congress has left Gandhiji.
• I don't have the guts to steal Gandhiji from anyone.
• I have read in newspapers that Congress people say I have taken away Gandhi ji from them.
• They maybe two 'dal' (parties), but they have one 'dil' (heart).
• Will you let Maharashtra be destroyed?
• Will you let Maharashtra be looted?
• They want a clear majority government now.
• People now don't want 'Yuti' or alliance.
• But I am ready to give full acccount of my work to the people of this contry.
• It has hardly been 100-125 days, people who have ruled for 60 yrs, are asking about my work in 60 days.
• Congress cheated the prople of Maharashtra.
• Today the entire nation needs Kolhapuri chappals to move ahead at pace.
• People are not worried about Modi, it's the turnout of citizens at these rallies is what they are worried about.
• PM Modi begins speaking at Kolhapur rally.

  • Modi ends his speech.
  • Before leaving, ensure that everything is clean. It is not just the work of cleanliness workers.
  • Maharashtra politics should not have any space for NCP, Congress.
  • India is moving forwards now. Maharashtra has to decide now whether they want to move forward now or not.
  • I have started the campaign 'Make in India' to ensure employment for the youths.
  • While they have assured us that they will be test in laboratory if natural fruit juice can be mixed into it, we have also asked our experts to test the same.
  • During my US visit, I asked Pepsi CEO if fruit juices can be mixed in it. Even if 5 % can be mixed, then it will be beneficial for the farmers.
  • I am here to request you to elect BJP with complete majority here.
  • Elect a government with majority here, then make us accountable and question us after five years.
  • If you want the state to develop, then don't make the mistake of forming a government here without majority.
  • Today, the world is talking about India. It is because of people who have elected the government with majority at Centre, not Modi.
  • Alliance is the cause of your backwardness.
  • I am here to get Maharashtra out of this.
  • NCP-Congress are two parties but in reality they are one. They are not 'rashtravadi' but 'brashtacharvadi'.
  • In the absence of Bala Saheb Thackeray, first Maharashtra polls are being held. I have immense respect for him as he dedicated his life towards the making of Shiv Sena. Hence, I have decided that I will not speak a word against Shiv Sena. This is my tribute to him.
  • Some newspapers have written that Modi does not criticise Shiv Sena in his speeches.
  • Every year, 3,700 farmers have committed suicide in the state. Have you seen Congress-NCP leaders shedding a tear for them?
  • They are not giving an account for the last 60 years, but ask for my report card for the last 60 days.
  • After coming to power, I gave nod to the approval of project within 15 days and within an year or two, the state will get electricity supply.
  • The Narmada project in Gujarat was lying pending for approval for years only because the central government was not clearing it. If it would have been completed earlier, Maharashtra would have got Rs 400 crore rupees electricity free of cost which would have been helpful for the farmers. But, he did not let that happen.
  • Do you face power crisis?
  • These people have robbed the houses of widows of Kargil martyrs, jobs of youths, happiness of the poor and aspirations of the people of Maharashtra.
  • When I was arriving here by the helicopter, I saw a swimming pool in the village. But it had no water.
  • I ask Sharad Pawar, you talk about Chhatrapati Shivaji Rao. Who named the airport after him? Atal Bihari government did that. It never struck you when the Congress was in power at the Centre.
  • Gujarat was born in 1960. Prior to that, it was a part of Maharashtra. We are consider ourselves to be the younger brother of Maharashtra.
  • I came here earlier during Lok Sabha elections to request you to vote for BJP. Trusting me you have voted for the party which won the seat here. I thank you for that.
  • I have a special connection with this land.
