Mumbai: A police constable was Tuesday booked for allegedly molesting a woman, daughter of another policeman, with whom he was having an affair.
A case was registered against Madhukar Rane, attached with Local Arms Division, under IPC Section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) on a complaint lodged by the 32-year-old victim, police said.
The woman is the daughter of an Assistant Sub-Inspector.
According to the police, it was a case of a love affair gone awry.
