Pune: Police seized 400 grams of cocaine
from two persons who have been arrested in connection with
drug trafficking.
Acting on a tip off, police laid a trap for the two
suspects, nabbing them in a car with the contraband in their
possession in a car at the camp area here last night.
The price of the seized consignment, believed to have
been smuggled into the city from Goa, was estimated at Rs ten
lakh, police said.
The drug was expected to be sold to some college
students and foreign nationals here by the duo who have been
remanded to police custody till March 13, after being booked
under the Narcotics Act.
