Rains in Vidarbha bring relief from heat wave

Parts of South-Vidarbha on Thursday received showers which brought much needed relief to the people in the region.

received showers which brought much needed relief to the
people in the region.

Rains occurred at Chandrapur-Ballarshah region while the
sky was overcast in the city and many other parts as well.

However earlier in the day, Nagpur recorded temperature
of 44.5 degree Celsius followed by 44.2 in Akola and 44 degree
Celsius in Wardha.

Temperatures at other places in Vidarbha region are as
follows. Amravati- 42, Bramhapuri- 43.3, Chandrapur-43.3,
Washim- 42.4, Buldana-40.6, Yavatmal-41 and Gondia-42.1
degree Celsius.
