Mumbai: A year after she was allegedly raped in the city, a 27-year-old Spanish musician is likely to depose before a local court on Thursday through video-conference, prosecution sources said.
The police have arrested Mohammed Badshah alias Mohammed Ismail Ansari in the case.
The survivor had earlier refused to depose, but she changed her mind last month.
Police filed the chargesheet in January this year.
According to police, Ansari entered the flat in suburban Bandra where the victim was staying on November 05 last year, and raped her after robbing her at knife-point.
He was arrested the next day.
A month before the incident, he had been arrested for committing burglary at the house of Bollywood actor Dino Morea. But he was released subsequently on bail.
