Recruitment drive in Territorial Army in Nagpur

Nagpur: The 118 Infantry Battalion
(Territorial Army) Grenadiers will be conducting a recruitment drive from October 4-6 at Sitabuldi Fort here.

The drive is being held for personnel belonging to states
of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra,
Karnataka, Rajasthan and Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar
Haveli, Goa, Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep and Pondicherry.

The recruitment will be carried out for trade General
Duty Soldier, Clerk and for Tradesman (Housekeeper) from 0530
hours on October 4.

The candidates should be gainfully employed in
civil/government/PSU/self-employed abd should be in the
age group of 18-42 years on the date of recruitment and
should have a minimum height of 160 cms & above, chest of 77
cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms and should weigh at
least 50 Kgs & above, according to a defence release.

The educational qualification for respective trades is as
follows:- GD Soldier: 10th /equivalent with 45 per cent marks
in aggregate and minimum 33 per cent marks in each subject.

Educational qualification for candidates hailing from
border districts of Rajasthan (Jaisalmer and Barmer District,
Shergarh, Osian and Phalodi Tehsils of Jodhpur District) and
Gujarat (Ropar and Lakhpat Tehsil of Kutch District), is tenth
pass without marks/percentage stipulation.
