Satara: A Right to Information (RTI) activist and member of Anna Hazare`s anti-graft movement was injured after an unidentified assailant attacked him with a sword in this Maharashtra district, police said here on Monday.

"Popat Barge, 37, was attacked in Phaltan village. He has suffered a minor head injury and is in a stable condition in the local hospital," Assistant Police Inspector Shankarrao Damse told a news agency.
