Second world conference on Savarkar in Dubai
Nearly 300 delegates from India are likely to attend the conference in which, life and works of the freedom fighter would be discussed.
Thane: The second world conference on
freedom-fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, better known as
Swatantryaveer Savarkar, will be held between December 15 and
19 in Dubai.
Ravi Karadkar, Vice President of the Thane-based
Swatantryaveer Seva Sanstha told this to reporters. The first
conference was held in Mauritius last year.
"Following the success of last year`s conference in
Mauri, we decided to hold the second one in Dubai," Karadkar

sponsor the event, he said.

The conference will have symposia, exhibitions, panel
discussions, cultural programmes, Karadkar said, adding, the
conference was aimed at spreading Savarkar`s ideologies and
message across the globe.
