New Delhi: Shiv Sena once again launched an attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday and said that instead of focusing on Maharashtra politics, it is time to concentrate on the ongoing ceasefire violations at the LoC.
In its editorial mouthpiece 'Saamna', Shiv Sena said that “it remains to be seen whether a 56-inch chest can save the country”.
"Why should be sit and count our bodies (of casualties)? If they kill five, we should kill their 50 and bring their heads to Chhatrapati Shivaji's Maharashtra," it urged, seeking strong action as seven people have been killed in India in the Pakistani firings.
The party has been criticising Modi, who is on a campaign in the poll-bound state.
The party is trying to cash in on Modi magic to win maximum number of seats in the poll-bound states.
The party hit out at the Prime Minister on Tuesday through 'Saamna' and said that Modi had left his work in the national capital to hold public meetings in the state.
The editorial also alleged that Modi is the only face of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and that is why he is being projected in the election rallies.
