Pune: Six persons were killed and eight
others injured when a car and a tempo collided head-on on Pune-Nashik road, police said Thursday.
The victims were travelling in the Pune-bound car when
it hit the tempo coming from opposite direction last night,
they said, adding the victims died on the spot.
The villagers in the area rushed to the spot after
hearing the loud bang and rushed the injured to a hospital at
nearby Manchar.
