Mumbai: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj on Sunday called on Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray here.
Swaraj met the Sena patriarch at his residence in suburban Bandra, 'Matoshree'.
"I met Balasaheb Thackeray and his son Uddhav as both were unwell recently. It was a mere courtesy call," Swaraj said, when asked about the visit at her press conference later.
The issue of current logjam in the Parliament over coal allocation issue did not come up during her meeting with Thackerays, she said.
