Thackeray criticises Congress on Batla issue

Bal Thackeray criticises Congress on Batla House encounter issue and also said that Salman Khurshid may even announce a memorial for them.

Mumbai: Flaying Congress president Sonia
Gandhi for "shedding tears" for those killed in the Batla
House encounter, Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Monday said that the Law
Minister Salman Khurshid may even announce a memorial for
them.

In an editorial in Sena mouthpiece `Saamana`, Thackeray
riled Khurshid over his remarks that UPA chairperson Sonia
Gandhi had cried after seeing the images of Batla House
encounter.

"Did she laugh when she looked at the photos of the 26/11
martyrs like Tukaram Ombale, Karkare and Salaskar," he asked.

"The two terrorists killed in Batla House were termed
martyrs by Congress," he said.

Khurshid can even announce constructing a memorial at
India Gate for the two terrorists killed in Batla house, he
said.

"Khurshid will also announce a memorial for terrorist
Afzal Guru," Thackeray added.
