Nashik: Two persons were arrested on Saturday for illegal possession of fire arms, from Untwadi and Kalika park localities here, police said.
The duo--Pranav Borse and Vithal Gavare were held with two country-made-revolvers, live catridges, four mobiles, five SIM cards and Rs 4,000 cash.
According to police, these youths were found moving in the area in a suspicious manner, when the police squad stopped them and recovered the fire arms.
Both were involved in looting people and chain snatching in the city. The accused will be produced in a local court later in the day for police custody, they added.
