Mumbai: MNS chief Raj Thackeray on Thursday
acknowledged that estranged cousin and Shiv Sena executive
president Uddhav Thackeray is a `great photographer`.
"I have seen many great photographers. Uddhav is a great
photographer," Raj said, speaking to reporters at a photo
exhibition at NCPA in south Mumbai.
"No questions about his photography skills.. Uddhav is a
great photographer," Raj said, leaving those gathered at the
venue to speculate whether he was indirectly trying to play
down Uddhav`s role as a politician by focusing only on his
expertise as a photographer.
Raj Thackeray quit Shiv Sena on December 18, 2005 and
three months later, announced formation of his new party.
Before quitting Sena, Raj wrote to uncle Bal Thackeray
saying that `under the leadership of Uddhav Thackeray, the
party was stinking and Uddhav should be held accountable for
party’s debacle` in Malvan Assembly poll where former Sena
leader Narayan Rane was elected on Congress ticket.
