After travelling 25,000 kms in 108 days across the
country, the Yatra which started from Kurushetra on September
30, an initiative to create awareness about protection of cow,
discouraging cow slaughter and utility of cow, drew many
top saffron leaders to the function.

Bhagwat said the traditional Indian living system use
of cow milk and cow urine were practiced for years and both
paid dividends on health front.

Indian cows were exported to Brazil which later developed
3070 species. Rural economy was based on cow. And it develops
strong human body to fight diseases.

On urbanisation, Bhagwat said indeed India has been in
cultivation since more than 10,000 years and our soil was
still fertile where as South Africa`s agriculture land has
turned barren after 300 years of cultivation.

Baba Ramdev called to take pledge to ban cow slaughter.

Bharti Swamiji, Shankaracharya Shri Bharti Narsinhji Karveer
Peeth, Dr Pranav Pandya, Rashtra Sevika Samiti chief
Pramilatai Medhe, Rashtriya Muslim Manch leader Maulana Bashir
Kadri and Bhadant Rahul Bodhi were also present on the
occasion.
