Western Railway to run special trains from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, Allahabad for Diwali

To clear extra rush of passengers and for their convenience during Diwali, Western Railway (WR) will run special trains from Bandra Terminus here to Ahmedabad and Allahabad.

Mumbai: To clear extra rush of passengers and for their convenience during Diwali, Western Railway (WR) will run special trains from Bandra Terminus here to Ahmedabad and Allahabad.

Bandra-Ahmedabad weekly special train (train no.09029) will run on October 29, November 5, 12. It will depart from Bandra (T) at 12.20 midnight (on Saturdays) and reach Ahmedabad at 08.25 am on the same day, a press release from WR issued here said.

In the return journey train no.09030 will leave from Ahmedabad station at 9.50 pm (Saturday) and reach Bandra at 06.15 am the the next day. This train will run on October, 29, November 5 and 12.
It will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, sleeper class and second class general coaches.

The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand and Nadiad stations in both directions.

To Allahabad, the weekly special train no.09017 will depart from Bandra (T) at 04.45 am (Thursday) and reach Allahabad Jn at 08.50 am the next day. This train will run on November 3 and 10, the release said. From Allahabad, train no. 09018 will depart from station at 10.25 hrs on Friday and reach Bandra (T) at 15.45 hrs, the next day. This train will run on November 4 and November 11, 2016.

It will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Udhna, Nandurbar, Amalner, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni Jn, Satna and Manikpur stations in both directions.
Booking for both the special trains opened today at all Passenger Reservation Centres and on IRCTC website.
